Our street rod engine is for the person who is looking for a street engine with great mid to higher RPM horsepower and torque without suffering low end torque;  available in pump gas or race gas versions.  Our street rod engine provides the power and reliability that every “street rodder” desires.  These engines also are designed to handle higher RPM longer than others in its class; without sacrificing the reliability of everyday use.  Our Sehr Street Rod engine can be used for a wide variety of purposes from a street cruiser, a “monster street machine”, or a street-strip hot rod.  Which ever purpose you desire, you can be assured that these engines have the highest quality procedures and components in their class.  This is why this line of engines is the biggest seller of our company.  Nobody can sell a better built engine for less.

With many combinations to choose from we can build you what you want and you will enjoy the reliability that you need. All of the machine work is completed at our performance level and no short cuts are ever taken. In these Street Rod packages we use high quality performance level premium parts to maintain reliability at high load and higher RPM levels. Higher competition usage is not recommended with this level of engine package. Our Street Rod engines feature performance 4-bolt engine blocks (Chevy), stage IV connecting rods, factory performance or nodular steel crankshafts, and factory heads with performance upgrades.
